Key Responsibilities of a Food Runner
- Deliver attentive, courteous, and prompt service to ensure a delightful dining experience for patrons.
- Efficiently transport food and beverages ordered by guests, ensuring timely delivery and presentation according to designated table assignments.
- Verify each order for any specific requests or dietary restrictions prior to serving.
- Clear and clean tables as needed to maintain a tidy dining area.
- Monitor tables and refill water glasses and other beverages as required.
- Reset tables and manage the transportation of used dishes to the dishwashing area.
- Assist in arranging tables and seating for guests when necessary.
- Maintain awareness of the service flow within the dining space.
- Conduct regular cleaning of the workstation in accordance with established protocols, including pre-shift and post-shift duties.
- Support the serving staff with additional tasks as needed.
- Under the direction of management, assist in training new food runners.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Ability to perform food runner and busser tasks effectively.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with guests, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds regularly.
- Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to reach, stoop, or bend as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
