Job Overview

Merrick Bank is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Assurance Engineer II to join our Information Security team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure access management solutions to protect our customers' sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement privileged access management solutions using tools such as Delinea.
  • Support application integrations with IAM suite of applications and tools.
  • Analyze and correct data inconsistencies, errors, gaps, and inaccuracies for impact.
  • Participate in identity and access planning, design, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with engineers to implement standardized practices and follow routine processes to promote secure systems and proper visibility.
  • Assist in the development of security policies and procedures.
  • Provide metrics and reporting.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of work experience in IAM, cybersecurity engineering, and IAM tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer or cybersecurity-related studies, or equivalent broad experience required.
  • CISSP, CCSK, CompTIA Cloud+, GCSA, CCSP, AWS Security Certification, CIST, CIAM, CIMP, CAMS, or other recognized certifications desirable.
  • Familiarity with highly-regulated industries, and specifically the banking industry (including PCI, SOX, and FDIC regulations) desirable.
