Financial Advisor

University Federal Credit Union is seeking a Financial Advisor to join their team in the northern part of their Austin, TX market. This role is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to provide financial and retirement planning services to members, non-members, and UFCU employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial and retirement planning services to members, non-members, and UFCU employees.
  • Conduct webinars, seminars, and workshops on financial and retirement topics.
  • Prospect for clients internally and externally through client referrals, networking, and existing members.
  • Identify opportunities to expand member relationships.
  • Consistently follow up on leads elicited through growth generating activities.
  • Provide personalized investment services by meeting with members, non-members, and employees to acquire a full understanding of their financial objectives.
  • Analyze financial information and develop a diversified investment strategy using a wide range of products to meet the members' goals.
  • Advise clients with investment relationships on asset allocation and portfolio construction.
  • Follow up on a regular basis to ensure the members' needs are met.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.
  • Seek guidance and coaching from Manager, Financial Advisors, and Wealth Advisors.
  • Build relationships and work with various business partners.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience required.
  • FINRA Series 7, 66 or 63/65 combination licenses required.
  • Life and Health Insurance Licenses required.
  • Must be bondable.
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
