Job Title: Travel OR RN - Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team of traveling professionals. As a travel OR RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

About the Job

This 13-week contract position is available in Atlanta, GA, and requires a strong background in operating room procedures and patient safety. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients prior to surgery and alleviate their concerns
  • Monitor patient's vital signs to detect anomalies
  • Assume duties within or out of the sterile field as assigned
  • Evaluate patient in postoperative phases
  • Pass medical instruments or other objects to the surgeon during operation
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an operating room nurse (circulating and scrub)
  • Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
  • In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
