We are seeking a skilled Precision Assembler to join our team at Qualigence International. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing assembly work utilizing lean principles to produce FDA regulated devices in a controlled work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components to include gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, and welding using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses.
- Handle and evaluate the quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions and promote a safe working environment.
- Inform team leads and supervisors of any production, parts, equipment, or process-related issues.
- Work effectively with others in a team environment and support LEAN operations by following standard work.
- Perform duties and responsibilities as outlined in this job description, which may change at any time.
- Stand and walk up to 70% - 100% of the workday.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous assembly experience with small parts is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate oral and written instructions in English.
- Basic counting and arithmetic skills required.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other employees.
