Job Summary

The Biology Teacher Classroom 10-month MLS position at GEMMA is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students. As a key member of our special education team, you will be responsible for providing direct instruction to students, coordinating work within the school, and communicating with appropriate personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging outdoor education lessons aligned with camp themes, including fishing, environmental education, archaeology, and geology.
  • Lead hands-on activities such as hikes, fishing excursions, nature walks, plant and animal identification, and basic outdoor skills.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of campers, providing clear instructions and supervision during all activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive camp environment, building rapport with campers and promoting teamwork and cooperation.
