Key Responsibilities- Assess and Evaluate Patients: Recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs of patients and initiate appropriate emergency procedures as needed.
- Provide Patient Education: Give accurate and complete information to patients and family, and evaluate patient and family understanding of treatment plan and/or instructions.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Act to facilitate interdisciplinary communication, utilize other members of the healthcare team in assessing the patient, and analyze patient data.
- Manage Electronic Medical Records: Follow clinic procedure/protocol for the organization and management of the electronic medical record.
- Perform Various Procedures: Assist with a variety of procedures, exams, and/or operation of diagnostic equipment as assigned.
- Education and Licensure: Possession of a current RN License issued by the State of Iowa.
- Experience: Clinic/Physician office experience preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
