Fire Alarm Specialist

Nika is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Mechanic to join our team at the US Coast Guard Base in Kodiak, AK.

• Provide technical services to the USCG Kodiak on Fire Suppression Systems, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Perform system modifications, regular testing and inspections, and troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Identify code and non-conformance issues, make recommendations, and have the necessary certifications to perform tasks independently.

• 2-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent in a technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years computer experience/operation and PLC programming.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
