Job Summary:
Bowman Williams is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our Professional Services team. As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for planning, testing, implementing, and documenting small to large projects and deployments for our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support services for Microsoft-related technologies, including Microsoft 365, Teams, Azure, SharePoint, Windows Server, and SQL.
- Support services for virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft.
- IT Support for internal systems and network infrastructure.
- Technical services and support at the network level, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- Administer hosted and cloud solutions for customers using technologies that meet their requirements.
- Advanced support and implementation of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Remote access solution support, including VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
- Monitor remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets.
- Administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system, including update agent scripts, responding to alerts, monitoring the dashboard, and periodic system review.
- Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure.
- Communication with customers as required, keeping them informed of incident progress and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience.
- Strong Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint experience.
- Strong Microsoft server and domain experience.
- Networking experience.
- Diagnostics skills for technical issues.
- Service awareness of all organization's key IT services for which support is being provided.
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
