Production Operator Assembly 2nd Shift

Your Role and Responsibilities
- You will assemble production, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, and more according to directions.
- Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
- Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
- Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.
- Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
- Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed to work in the United States.
- Knowledge and use of necessary tools, including tape measure, screwdriver, battery-operated tools, etc.
- Familiarity with hardware arrangements, including nuts, bolts, screws, etc.
- Knowledge and use of 5S principles: sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain.
- Able to read and interpret engineering job spec sheets, connection diagrams, bills of materials, and standard assembly drawings.
- Able to safely operate a crane or other lifting devices as needed.
- Able to use and work with hand tools effectively.
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent communication and basic computer skills to look up parts based on bill of materials.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
- Hand-eye coordination skills and use of both hands.
Benefits
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of $45,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
