Your Role and Responsibilities

  • You will assemble production, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, and more according to directions.
  • Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
  • Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
  • Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.
  • Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
  • Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensed to work in the United States.
  • Knowledge and use of necessary tools, including tape measure, screwdriver, battery-operated tools, etc.
  • Familiarity with hardware arrangements, including nuts, bolts, screws, etc.
  • Knowledge and use of 5S principles: sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering job spec sheets, connection diagrams, bills of materials, and standard assembly drawings.
  • Able to safely operate a crane or other lifting devices as needed.
  • Able to use and work with hand tools effectively.
  • Able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and basic computer skills to look up parts based on bill of materials.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
  • Hand-eye coordination skills and use of both hands.

Benefits

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of $45,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
