Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to support their year-end close, payroll, grant billing, and audit management.
- Our client is a leading national non-profit that promotes social change and equity in order to end violence for all the communities they serve.
- Their work is most effectively done through grassroots efforts and advocating for and supporting legislative changes.
About the Accounting Manager Role:
- Handle grant billing and provide reports of findings
- Manage Accounts Payable using QuickBooks
- Enter invoices and process weekly check runs
- Process employee payroll using Paychex for 10 employees, bi-weekly
- Assist with year-end audit
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles
- Solution-oriented, high level of efficiency, self-starter and self-sufficient
- Comfortable around conversations involving equity and inclusion as part of a feminist organization
- Ability to work within Paychex, QBO, and bill.com are a plus
- Previous experience with audits and federal grant funding
