We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Medicine for Business and Industry. As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
About the RoleThis is a PRN position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis to provide physical therapy services to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and assess patients' physical therapy needs, formulate specific treatment plans and goals, and implement these plans with physician approval.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess patients' physical therapy needs, formulate specific treatment plans and goals, and implement these plans with physician approval.
- Complete all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner, including initial evaluations, daily treatment notes, staffing reports, discharge summaries, timely reassessments, educational activities for patients, billing-related documentation, and insurance justification letters for equipment purchase and rentals.
- Provide patient educational services, both verbally and in writing, documenting all educational activities and patient responses in charts.
- Supervise the administration of physical therapy services by the Physical Therapy Assistant as needed.
- Participate in treatment plan reviews, patient case review conferences, patient assessments and reassessments, and staffing with physicians.
- Adhere to the company's established policies and procedures, including strict patient confidentiality.
- Assist the Medical Director as directed in the following, but not limited to: Utilization Review & Quality Assurance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Must have a license (in good standing) or diploma to practice physical therapy from the State of Arizona.
- Current CPR Certification.
