We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our team at Imagix Dental of Johns Creek. As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental hygienists in delivering top-notch services.
Responsibilities:- Assist dental hygienists with patient care, including distributing and collecting completed documentation, setting up and breaking down treatment rooms, and sterilizing equipment and instruments.
- Uphold office policies, including HIPAA and OSHA regulations, to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance duties to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Review medical history, input information into CPS, and take intra-oral pictures for the doctor.
- Take clinically appropriate x-rays and obtain necessary consent for patient treatment.
- Other duties as assigned by the dental hygienist or practice manager.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Completion of a Dental Assisting Program and X-ray certification is preferred
