Job Summary:
Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a skilled Warranty Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Warranty Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of warranty claims for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and correct all warranty claims generated through technicians to prepare for submission to vendors.
- Process all Crown warranty claims and claims for any other manufacturer represented by Crown.
- Review monthly A/R reports on all vendor warranty accounts.
- Process all warranty claim paperwork and track claims from the time they are submitted to the time they are paid or rejected.
- Maintain files on warranty claims.
- Tracking rejected warranties and notifying Service Manager about rejected warranties.
- Prepare monthly list of warranties not paid and determine disposition.
- Resubmit warranty claims as needed.
- Maintaining, shipping and tracking warranty parts to vendors or scraping as needed.
- Determine disposition of warranty parts returned from vendor as a result of a rejected claim.
- Assist other parts personnel as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good verbal communication, written communication, interpersonal, organizational, numerical perception, and computer skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Parts or inventory control experience and lift truck industry experience preferred.
