Job Summary

As a key member of the Emanate Health team, the Certified Sterile Processing Tech plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care. This role involves the collection, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, supplies, and equipment needed for patient care.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care. Additionally, the ability to handle medications and IV solutions is a requirement of this role.

Responsibilities
  • Collect, decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and distribute instruments, supplies, and equipment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
  • Handle medications and IV solutions
  • May be responsible for delivering IV solutions or instrument trays containing medications
Requirements
  • High School or equivalent preferred
  • Graduate of CS/SPD training course preferred
  • Hospital Central Sterile Supply Technician experience desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • IAHCSMM, CBSPD, or CST certification required
Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm

$33.08 per hour
