Work Schedule: PRN

Shift: Day shifts, including a minimum of two weekend days each month

Your Role:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and implement medically prescribed treatment programs for speech language pathology.

Your Contributions:

- Assess patients' abilities to safely and effectively perform speech language, cognitive, and swallowing tasks.

- Develop and execute a tailored treatment plan based on established practice standards, recommended techniques, insurance protocols, and patient needs. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation and billing using measurable and objective language, adhering to practice standards, insurance guidelines, and departmental policies.

- Assist in discharge planning and provide information regarding the appropriate selection and use of adaptive equipment and follow-up services.

- Supervise the care provided by therapy aides in accordance with established regulations and practice standards.

Qualifications for Success:

Minimum Requirements:

- A valid license or provisional license in Florida as a Speech and Language Pathologist.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA).
