Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling patients on medication use and health-related topics.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest clinical guidelines, medications, and technologies to provide evidence-based care and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient and effective operations, including inventory management, billing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting, preferably with a large chain or health system.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
