POSITION SUMMARY:


The Senior Finance Analyst role within the sales finance team will serve as a vital collaborator for the Commercial Division and various functional teams, delivering analytical insights, overseeing processes, and generating reports.

Key responsibilities encompass daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, developing and presenting KPI scorecards, analyzing trade expenditures, facilitating trade forecasts, monitoring and reconciling monthly financial outcomes, executing financial evaluations, and ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to identify significant trends and issues for informed decision-making and implement corrective measures to enhance processes.

This role supports internal control mechanisms and fulfills necessary compliance requirements.

Successful candidates will exhibit proficiency in analyzing extensive data sets, troubleshooting issues, implementing corrective actions, and effectively communicating findings to management.

Proven success in positions demanding strong analytical and system capabilities is essential.

Applicants must possess robust prioritization and organizational skills, along with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, including the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.

A foundational understanding of business cycles, systems, and processes that influence Sales and Operations is expected.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting is required; an MBA is preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Finance is necessary, with prior experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) highly desirable. Proven success in roles that require strong analytical and systems skills is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to optimize internal processes while possessing strong prioritization and organizational capabilities.

Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, including the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Excel is required, particularly with large data sets. Familiarity with SAP Financial applications is advantageous.

Special Skills:

Knowledge in Order to Cash Demand Planning, Poultry or Prepared Plant Operations, Purchase to Pay Shared Services, and Sales Operations is beneficial.


Special Skills:
An MBA or CPA designation is a plus.
