About the Role

CohnReznick is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our Private Client Services practice in a hybrid capacity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax services to high net worth individuals and family offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare trust, personal, partnership, and S Corp tax returns, as well as amended tax returns, with minimal supervision.
  • Respond to tax notices and draft corresponding correspondence.
  • Work closely with clients to maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge to train and supervise entry-level associates.
  • Establish proficiency in tax research and stay up-to-date on reference sources available to the firm.
  • Acquire skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty.
  • Develop a professional relationship with clients, gaining their respect and confidence through supreme customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity.
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for clients, ensuring they are informed of engagement progress and logistics.
  • Gain the respect and confidence of the CohnReznick team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear direction.
  • Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Minimum 8+ years of tax and accounting experience in public accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Computer expertise, including knowledge of audit-preparation software and an understanding of the impact of technology.
  • Proven technical skills with MS Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook; audit software, ProSystems or GoSystems, and CCH Engagement experience a plus.
  • Solid organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
