Welder Specialist

Hose Master is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing skilled welding work in the fabrication and repair of metal hoses.

We have three shifts:

• 1st Shift: 7:00AM - 5:30PM, Monday-Thursday
• 3rd Shift: 8:30PM - 7:00AM, Monday-Thursday
• Weekend Shift: 6:00AM - 6:30PM, Friday-Sunday

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Verify orders for correct quantity and hose length.
• Perform inspection for correct hose and appropriate fittings.
• Determine correct alloy to be applied to all welds.
• Perform skilled welding - following standardized procedure for AMP and RPM.
• Learn job-related material primarily through oral instruction and observation.
• Visually inspect completed welds to determine compliance with standards. Check quality and appearance of finished hose.
• Make appropriate repairs to assemblies that do not meet standards.
• Maintain daily production logs.
• Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self and others.
• Work cooperatively and jointly to provide a quality product.
• Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Basic welding experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Good basic math skills.
• Have knowledge of standard tools, material, and practices of welding trades.

• Must be able to work a minimum 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit for 80 percent of the day.
• Good hand and eye coordination.
• Must be able to bend, squat, twist, and kneel.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
