Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage. This is a unique opportunity to work in an outpatient setting, providing exceptional care to patients and making a significant impact in the healthcare community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an outpatient setting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Requirements:
  • Current Alaska license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • At least two years of recent experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an outpatient setting.
  • Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or Specialty Certifications.
  • 2 current Clinical References.
  • Physical and TB Records.
  • Current - Tdap/Flu vaccinations and Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella or vaccination records.
  • Ability to pass background/urine drug screening.
