Role Overview: The Senior Process Engineer utilizes extensive technical expertise to tackle engineering assignments, including intricate challenges, while executing project tasks with a high degree of autonomy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive feasibility and optimization analyses, alongside process simulations and material balances.
  • Perform essential calculations for process equipment sizing and prepare process data for instrument and mechanical data sheets.
  • Engage in hydraulic piping line sizing and develop various engineering philosophies and reports.
  • Execute relief calculations and model flare networks effectively.
  • Assist project management teams with consistent reporting, scheduling, and resource planning.
  • Review engineering calculations and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards; oversee and delegate tasks to junior engineers.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication between the process engineering team and other engineering disciplines to uphold the quality and consistency of technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to conduct occasional site visits, including climbing and lifting up to 25 lbs.
