We are seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants at St. Vincent's in Bismarck, ND.
About the RoleThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) serves as a caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods in long-term care, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Responsibilities:- Assist residents with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care.
- Transfer, reposition, and walk residents using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment, and provide range of motion and passive exercises.
- Complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for residents.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
The estimated salary for this role is $28,000 - $38,000 per year, depending on experience.
