Position Overview
As a key member of the team, the System Administrator will play a vital role in enhancing advanced Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) initiatives, contributing to mission-critical big data analytics and predictive analytics. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a diverse, agile team of professionals including data scientists, software developers, system engineers, and data analysts to design, construct, and optimize a complex, resource-intensive application.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, taking both independent and collaborative approaches to deliver high-quality infrastructure and deployment solutions.

Essential Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three years in a relevant field. Additional experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance, with the capability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Over four years of experience in system administration, ideally within a cloud-native setting.
  • Proficient in Amazon Web Services (AWS/C2S) and Linux OS system administration.
  • Extensive experience in application and infrastructure deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Ability to secure and maintain Privileged User Access (PUA) on the client’s network.
  • Experience in hardware maintenance in alignment with security protocols.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages for system administration.
  • Demonstrated history of active learning and innovative problem-solving.
  • Capability to evaluate and address infrastructure and application deployment needs, identifying optimal and cost-effective solutions.
  • A willingness to thrive in a dynamic environment, quickly acquiring new skills as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Significant experience supporting military or intelligence community clients, showcasing progressive technical development and mission-oriented results.
  • Experience in supporting data team operations.
  • An interest in data science, data engineering, or machine learning.
  • Experience in system administration within an on-premises, air-gapped environment.
  • Experience in configuring and optimizing storage and networking solutions.
  • Familiarity with deploying and maintaining Kubernetes applications, DevOps, and MLOps practices.
  • Knowledge of IT automation tools such as SaltStack, Ansible, or Terraform.
  • Experience with virtualization and distributed file systems, such as Hadoop, in both development and production settings.
  • Familiarity with version control and project management tools like git, svn, or JIRA.
  • Possession of AWS professional certifications.
  • Understanding of NVIDIA GPUs and related appliances.
