We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in ELLSWORTH, Maine. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading healthcare organization and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
About the RoleThis Radiology Technologist position involves working as part of a dynamic team to provide imaging services to patients. You will be responsible for operating complex medical equipment, ensuring accurate diagnoses, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure seamless communication between healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to ensure timely and effective diagnosis and treatment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in radiology technology, including CT scanning and imaging principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare teams
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure
- Certification in radiology technology, such as ARRT (R)
