Job Summary

Providence Saint Mary Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a travel position. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care to meet those needs.
  • Administer oxygen therapy and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • RRT or CRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Current state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Work Environment

This is a travel position, and the Respiratory Therapist will be working in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a dynamic setting and provide high-quality patient care in a timely and efficient manner.
