Job Title: Senior Underwriter

At Amwins Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team. As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting new business and maintaining renewal ratios on the SRU Casualty XS Side Car program. You will also be responsible for marketing our product to wholesale brokers through email, phone calls, and personal visits.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a book of business, including underwriting new business and maintaining renewal ratios.
  • Market our product to wholesale brokers through various channels.
  • Assist team members with questions regarding department procedures and coverage issues.
  • Assist in the training and development of team members.
  • Guide and direct underwriting assistants.
  • Assist with program build out.
  • Supervise projects or teams of 2-5 people.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of relevant underwriting experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency with an emphasis on Word and Excel.
