Key Responsibilities:- Deliver technical guidance for processing, utility, and wastewater systems
- Devise strategies to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, increase yields, and improve safety
- Diagnose process-related issues and determine underlying causes
- Align process control with automation technologies
- Create engineering designs and layouts for processing equipment
- Generate documentation to facilitate process modifications
- Specify equipment requirements and collaborate with suppliers and contractors
- Conduct process risk evaluations and project simulations
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety protocols
- Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery
- 3-5 years of experience in a director-level role within the food sector
- 10-15 years of background in capital projects or manufacturing operations
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Familiarity with HACCP, food safety standards, and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in PLC and control logic systems
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and drive process enhancements
- Excellent communication and strategic planning skills
