Electrical Service Technician Job Description
Watson Electrical is seeking a skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Service Technician, you will be responsible for conducting service calls, repairing and replacing electrical equipment, and installing new systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct service calls in accordance with relevant codes and site-specific procedures.
- Repair, replace, and install electrical equipment and systems in commercial, industrial, and critical power environments.
- Must have knowledge of local, state, and federal electrical codes and the ability to understand drawings and specifications.
- Use appropriate tools and testing equipment to properly complete a job.
- Effectively team and communicate with fellow employees and customers to maintain satisfactory work conditions.
Requirements:
- Must be able to carry out the physical demands of the job, including lifting, carrying, bending, crawling, climbing, balancing, repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers, etc.
- Must have a strong work ethic with an emphasis on safety.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members to ensure satisfaction, quality, timeliness, and long-term recommendations for future work.
- Required to have excellent organizational skills and ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision or with a team to complete projects on time.
- Must exhibit good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Applicants must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screening test and background check.
- A Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
