Key Responsibilities
  • Clean food production spaces, including equipment and utensils, using hot water, cleaning chemicals, and scrub pads.
  • Clean warehouse areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting, to meet company standards.
  • Empty trash containers, replenish paper goods and supplies, and maintain accurate sweep logs.
  • Perform duties as communicated by FSQA leadership and adhere to cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  • Report all life safety and fire hazards, as well as any other violations of company policy, to facility leadership for correction.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Experience cleaning in the grocery/food industry or food manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Able to work well without direct supervision.
  • Able to operate all necessary equipment.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the facility, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must adhere to company dress code and standards of production kitchen dress and PPE (personal protective equipment).
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodation.
