Job Summary

As a Lead Laundry Technician with the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day tasks to maintain a clean environment, including sorting, washing, and folding laundry
  • Assist the manager with creating work assignments for Laundry Technicians and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Operate laundry equipment, report any needs for repairs or replacements, and document linen usage
  • Work independently or as part of a team to ensure that laundry is processed safely and efficiently
  • Record and report any issues or concerns related to laundry operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role or previous laundry or production experience
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record (depending on location)
