Job Summary

As an Automated Logistical Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining the back of house, ensuring the smooth operation of supply chain management. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and perform specific functions in order to maintain equipment records and parts. Key duties include establishing and maintaining records, maintaining stock locator systems, and administering document control procedures. You will also process requests and turn-in documents, perform prescribed load-list and shop-stock list duties in manual and automated supply applications, and operate material-handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct bins, shelving, and other storage aids
• Simplify and standardize the collection and use of maintenance data
• Raise the quality and accuracy of performance, cost, and parts data through improved maintenance management

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must be at least 17 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet the physical and moral standards of the Army National Guard. You must also be a U.S. citizen and be willing to serve part-time in the Army National Guard.

Training and Development

As an Automated Logistical Specialist, you will receive 10 weeks of Basic Training and 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT), which includes practice in handling and storing stock. You will also have opportunities for on-the-job training and professional development throughout your career in the Army National Guard.
