Position Overview:
As a Senior Aviation Mechanic, you will be responsible for leading the RS Mechanic Team in the maintenance and inspection of mid to large-sized aircraft. This role requires a strong background in aviation maintenance, with a focus on both scheduled and unscheduled inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and coordinate all mechanical system activities, ensuring timely updates on aircraft testing status and schedule impacts.
2. Manage manpower requirements to support maintenance tasks, systems testing, and discrepancy resolution.
3. Provide supervision and training to aircraft technicians on troubleshooting airframe and engine systems, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance.
4. Conduct performance evaluations for team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
5. Execute engine runs on aircraft as necessary and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Aircraft Service Changes (ASCs) and Customer Bulletins.
6. Perform periodic maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems, ensuring tasks are completed within standard CMP time.
7. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues such as fluid leaks and minor structural damage.
8. Adhere to standard operating procedures while operating ground support equipment and supervise the use of specialized support tools.
9. Review daily job charging for accuracy and compliance.

Safety and Efficiency:
Implement 6S and Lean Initiatives to uphold excellent housekeeping and safety standards across all work areas, including hangars and break areas.

Goals and Objectives:
Assist in setting performance goals for team members and support the company's operational goals at the floor level.

Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of inspection and heavy maintenance practices, including aircraft component removal and installation, flight control rigging, and structural repairs. Proficiency in technical reference materials such as maintenance manuals and service bulletins is essential. Candidates must possess strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Shift Availability:
This position requires availability for weekend night shifts.
