Clinical Nurse RN Clinical Decision Unit PRN Rotating

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our team in the Clinical Decision Unit at VCU Health. As a Registered Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Assess patient needs and develop effective care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible for compact state licensure.
- AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent.
- 12-24 months RN experience for Clinical II role.
- 3 years of clinical experience for Clinical III role.
- Academic Health Care Experience.
- Experience with similar patient population in acute care setting.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. The Registered Nurse RN will be required to stand for prolonged periods, lift 20-50 pounds, and work in a noisy environment.
