Job Title: Medical Device Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Device Sales Representative to join our team at FloodGate Medical Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our DETOUR System to vascular specialists within an assigned geographic area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote, sell, and service the company's DETOUR System directly to vascular specialists within an assigned geographic area.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including physicians and their staff.
  • Utilize a clinical sales approach to influence doctors and staff to purchase and commit to using company products.
  • Meet with an assigned group of physicians and physician's staff on a consistent basis to promote and detail products and services.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on established and prospective customers to solicit orders, or to qualify them as sales prospects for the company.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, exhibitions, and trade shows when designated.
  • Understand and support the company's policies and procedures as it pertains to product complaint handling and required regulatory reporting.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas established by the company.
  • Follow corporate policies regarding customer entertainment and customer relations.
  • Collect and report competitive information to Marketing.
  • Prepare periodic reports including weekly call reports, weekly expense reports, periodic general reports, and other reports as assigned.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales proposals/contracts for orders obtained and perspective orders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 3-5+ years of med device sales experience (peripheral vascular/IR/vascular surgery).
  • High-level of success/track record.
  • Strong relationships in this space.

Compensation:

$150k base salary, uncapped commission/variable pay, and an average total compensation of $325k+.
