Job Summary

Capital One is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and implement new capabilities for our Platform components. As a DevOps Engineer, you will ensure platform availability, resiliency, and redundancy using emerging technologies. Your expertise in scripting languages, container orchestration, and continuous integration will drive a major transformation within Capital One.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new capabilities for our Platform components
  • Ensure platform availability, resiliency, and redundancy
  • Utilize scripting languages like Python, SQL, Ruby, and groovy
  • Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS
  • CM tools including Ansible and Terraform
  • AWS tools and services

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools
  • 2 years of experience with AWS
  • Experience in Agile practices, containerization (Kubernetes), networking (Linux), and continuous integration (Jenkins)
