Intensive Care Unit Nurse Opportunity in Upstate New York

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to join our team at CrossMed Healthcare Staffing. This 13-week travel nursing assignment is located in Ogdensburg, New York, and offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience while working in a dynamic healthcare environment.
About the Assignment:This ICU RN position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Salary and Benefits:The salary for this position is estimated to be $2272.68 - $2388.24 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. In addition to a competitive pay package, we offer comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k), referral bonuses, reimbursement for licensure & CEUs, an EAP program, and more.
Requirements:- At minimum 1-2 years' experience in ICU or Critical Care Nursing
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Physical abilities – remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending and pulling
- Communication and collaborates with physicians and other health team members
- Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members
- Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes
- Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
- Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Transports patients as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
