Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Wellness Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular wellness visits for all residents to identify and address any health concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and document resident vital signs, including weights and temperatures.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and services.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
  • Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
