Responsibilities:
Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in the hospital and ensures a safe working environment. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Oversees the building and its associated systems. Must be certified and/or licensed in a specific trade that is directly related to healthcare engineering.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Five (5) years of experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
  • Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blueprints.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relevant to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
