Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Lutheran Life Villages' Memory Care Assisted Living community in Fort Wayne. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in long-term care and memory care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of the approved Indiana State Board of Health, 105 Hour Nurse Aide Training Program or equivalent.
  • Active and valid certification as a Nurse Aide in good standing with the Registry.
  • One year of experience in a long-term care facility or healthcare setting preferred; memory care experience a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
