Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at The Salvation Army Central Territory. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working effectively with our Point of Sales system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present a professional appearance and adhere to our dress code at all times.
  • Accurately manage personal cash drawer, opening, closing, and balancing, while adhering to all Salvation Army money handling procedures.
  • Work to understand the Point of Sales system and complete sales effectively and efficiently, with proficiency obtained within 3 months of employment.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, including cleaning, straightening, hanging, and restocking as needed.
  • Provide a friendly demeanor, greeting customers and offering assistance as needed.
  • Follow all Salvation Army policies regarding the sale of merchandise and work to meet production goals for the store each day.
  • Be available for a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
