Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Specialty Staff RN to join our team at Providence Health & Service. As a key member of our cardiac care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct quality care for cardiac patients in an out-patient setting, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Assess, treat, and care for patients with adult and geriatric conditions, demonstrating expertise in analyzing patient data and understanding the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial, spiritual, and chronological maturation process.
  • Coordinate patient care activities with other members of the healthcare team, fostering a collegial relationship and promoting seamless care transitions.
  • Accept professional development as an integral part of nursing practice, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based guidelines and best practices in cardiac care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification
  • 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Cardiac Device Specialist Certification
