Key Responsibilities:
Patient Support:
Deliver nursing care that includes thorough assessments, patient education, and advocacy to enhance patient experiences.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain and develop a database to track essential metrics for multidisciplinary clinics, including new patient appointments, referral patterns, and clinical trial participation.
Effective Communication:
Engage with patients, families, colleagues, and external stakeholders to foster a supportive environment that prioritizes exceptional patient care.
Professional Growth:
Identify and recommend training opportunities for both yourself and your team to enhance professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in nursing.
- Active Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is highly preferred.
