Speech-Language Pathologist - School Setting

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals working in school settings. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for speech and language evaluations within the school environment.
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to enhance student communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create appropriate strategies and accommodations that support students' speech and language needs.
  • Administer a variety of standardized assessments to identify potential communication or language disorders.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to parents and teachers regarding assessment results.
  • Work alongside members of the education team, including teachers, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all assessments conducted.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Texas state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Certification.
  • Experience working in school settings and conducting assessments is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • CF-SLPs are welcome to apply.
