Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Electrical Technician to join our team at Ameri-Force. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $26 to $30 per hour and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule during daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in industrial machinery.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members or work independently to complete tasks.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with electrical standards.
  • Analyze technical documents to make informed decisions.
  • Interpret specifications and blueprints accurately.
  • Install, service, and repair conduits, wiring, and fixtures.
  • Conduct thorough electronic inspections and testing.
  • Ensure proper grounding of electrical systems.
  • Service generators, motors, and high-voltage systems.
  • Maintain and repair heavy-duty machinery and industrial communication systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oiling motors and replacing wiring.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify issues with electrical components.
  • Work with programmable logic controllers and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with RS-logic software is advantageous.
  • Experience in setting up and troubleshooting Allen Bradley drives is preferred.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications and Education
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • An Associate's Degree in a relevant field may be necessary in some cases.
  • Journeyman experience or completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
  • Understanding of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of managing projects and making decisions.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and climbing.
