Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Steel Industries Inc. in Redford, MI.

This is a full-time on-site role that requires a strong understanding of consistent and reliable operation of CNC machining equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for machine operation, quality control, machining, milling, and operating machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review shop orders and drawings to determine machining specifications and requirements.
  • Monitor and change cutting tools (inserts) as needed.
  • Perform dimensional inspection of product as required.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Machine Operation and Machinery skills.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
