We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Robotics Automation Engineer to join our team at Ellison. As a key member of our automation department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge robotic solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Lead: Provide technical guidance and leadership for the design and deployment of Ellison Automation Solutions.
- Automation Cell Design: Conceptualize and design automation cells and solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
- Robot Support: Serve as a go-to resource for automation and robot support escalations, including helping with requests from Field Service Engineers and Technical Resource Center.
- Liaison with Manufacturers: Act as a technical liaison to Doosan Robotics and other manufacturers, serving as an extension of their engineering team.
- Implementation and Installation: Participate in implementation and installation teams as needed.
- Training and Support: Help train the support organization on robots and assist with transitioning technical support responsibilities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in robotic integration.
- A 4-year engineering, mechatronics, or electrical degree, or similar.
- Extensive industry experience will be considered in lieu of a 4-year degree.
- Experience working for a systems integrator focused on robotics is a must.
- Working knowledge of major industrial robotics, with experience on Doosan Robotics advantageous.
- Ability to conceptualize and design robotic-based automation solutions for various client processes and workflows.
- Working knowledge of computer and robotic programming.
- Ability to work in CAD and read/interpret electrical diagrams.
