Overview:
Ensure the establishment is maintained to provide a safe and pristine environment for guests, staff, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Replenish linen storage areas with necessary amenities and supplies for housekeeping staff; may involve delivering supplies directly to room attendants.
Clear room attendant carts of used linens and waste materials.
Clean and remove stains from corridor walls and doors. Shine and maintain mirrors, room identifiers on guest room doors, and elevator entrances.
Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, staircases, vending areas, and lobbies.
Rotate mattresses and relocate furniture as directed by management.
Adhere to attendance policies and be consistently available for work.
Execute any other job-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospitality preferred.
Proactive personality with a calm demeanor.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests.
Willingness to assist colleagues with their responsibilities and be a collaborative team member.
Capability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy items, and stand for prolonged periods with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to understand and follow directions from management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adjust communication style to suit various audiences, including effectively interacting with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
