Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN Pre Anesthesia to join our team at North Carolina Specialty Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe transition of patients from the preoperative to the operating room.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia evaluations to identify potential risks and develop individualized plans for each patient.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Administer medications and perform procedures as ordered by the anesthesiologist.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the preoperative process.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure.
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience, preferably in a pre-anesthesia or perioperative setting.
  • ACLS certification and CPR training required.
