Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and select appropriate technical parameters to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during imaging procedures, reporting any concerns or abnormalities to the radiologist or other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current licensure or certification in Radiologic Technology, such as ARRT or CCI.
  • 1-2 years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
